Why support our Rotary Children’s Book project?
Why support our Rotary Children’s Book project?
It combines our Club’s love of Read Aloud (an annual club project) with the joy of
providing free books to children in our underserved communities
We are People of Action. This book is a way for your club to connect with local
schools, daycare centers and libraries and send every student home with their
own new book.
Reading was one of Paul Harris’s core joys. In his spirit, Rotary champions literacy
and education as key areas of focus. This book serves as a powerful tool to
promote these values.
The first 21 pages share a gentle message of kindness and friendship framed
through the lens of The Four-Way Test.
The final four pages include questions for children to reflect on the story and
share what they enjoyed. Additionally, there's a message to readers explaining
Rotary's mission and guidance on finding a local club.
